My newest piece is a mixed-media drawing titled Drawing: B-Series – 1- 2013 and was submitted for a response exhibition in May of this year called New Bedford Harbor in a New Light.
The piece is 76.5” x 88” and was executed in graphite, charcoal, dry pastel and colored pencil & cellophane tape on Trojan Onionskin Typing Paper. For more information about the piece, please click here.

My work is highly subjective. It does not attempt to make any political, cultural or emotional statements. It only attempts to be what it is. On rare occasions, I do execute themed work, for example, in the piece above created especially for the upcoming response exhibit at the New Bedford Art Museum.
The drawings and paintings I create are usually in domestic scale for art buyers who live in traditional or modest homes. The work is also priced to reflect the buyer’s art budget.
It seems, as I have been told, that my work attracts, is appreciated by and is purchased by academics, intellectuals and those who seek a visual experience beyond two-dimensional illusional reality.
